Upcoming Elections
Minneapolis is the seat of Hennepin County. Hennepin County is holding general elections for county attorney, county sheriff, county commission, county park commission, and judicial offices on November 8, 2022. A primary is scheduled for August 9, 2022.
The next election for all 13 city council representatives is November 2023. Redistricting is happening in March 2022, and the new boundaries will be in place for the next decade.
The next Minneapolis mayoral election is 2025.
